GM Bank, Inc. is a consolidation of two (2) of Nueva Ecija’s most established rural banks namely the Community Rural Bank Inc. (CRBI) & the Muñoz Rural Bank Inc. (MRBI).
Muñoz Rural Bank Inc. is one of the oldest and most reputable rural bank in the country. Its operations began in 1956 in a very humble community now known as Nueva Ecija’s Science City of Muñoz.
The Community Rural Bank (CRBI) is located at the Municipality of Guimba, Nueva Ecija.It was granted Authority to Operate by the BSP in February 1987.
The Small and Medium Enterprises Bank (SME) was established in 1965, It was acquired by CRBI and MRBI last September 2001 and merged with GM Bank on July 2008.
